Betty’s Crumpets
We’re Beck and Martin, partners in life and Barossa’s accidental bakers. We were ultimately born out of the Barossa Farmers Market when we started with our sourdough bread in 2014, and our sourdough crumpets joined in 2016. Years of perfecting them has proven that we want to make our crumpets our ‘bread and butter’. Our passion is creating high-quality food that’s well made and widely enjoyed with a good hint of childhood nostalgia.
Crisp on the outside, chewy in the middle, golden all over, these crumpets are yours for the slathering. Thick, bouncy, and full of tiny little holes just waiting to soak up the good stuff. Our sourdough crumpets are slow-fermented, lovingly handmade and packed by us and our currently small team in the Barossa Valley. Whatever your jam, sweet, salty, savoury, there’s delight in every bite.
